Send your date, location, guest count and how long you’d like Lou drawing. Already know whether you want classic or digital? Great. Not sure? Also fine. Lou can help with that.
Lou looks at your guest count, drawing time and how many guests you’d like drawn. Then he recommends classic or digital and, for larger crowds, how many artists you’ll need. Lou does the math.
Once the date, hours, format and price look right, tell Lou you’re ready. Lou will send you the final booking details. That’s pretty much it.
Your venue provides two sturdy guest chairs and a small table. Lou brings his easel, equipment and 29 years of knowing what to do next. You’ve got enough to manage. Lou doesn’t need to be one more thing.
Guests get drawn. Everybody gets the reveal. Somebody usually laughs louder than expected. Then they leave with a drawing made just for them. As your event winds down, Lou closes the line in time to finish everyone already waiting.
The practical stuff
Classic pen and ink caricatures are $250 per hour.
Custom paper with your logo, event name or other details is available for an additional fee. Pricing depends on the number of sheets and whether you choose color or black and white printing.
Digital caricatures are $350 per hour and include a custom digital template.
Planning a longer event? Ask Lou about multi-hour and day rates.
The standard rate includes travel to Seattle, Bellevue and Tacoma.
Lou also travels beyond those areas. A travel fee may apply.

The venue provides two sturdy guest chairs and a small table, or a third sturdy chair for supplies.
Outdoor events need a covered, shaded drawing area. Evening and digital events need access to power.
Please place Lou away from speakers and the dance floor when possible. Drawing is easier when guests can sit still and hear him.
No deposit is required.
Payment is due before or on the event date by check, Venmo, cash or credit card.
Credit cards are accepted through Square. A 3% processing fee applies to credit card payments.
Yes. Lou plays with shape, angles and proportions until the likeness clicks.
The idea is a funny, cartoony version of you that still looks like you. Want silly? Just ask. Lou can turn it up.
